CULTURE AT HAMBURGER BAHNHOF! PLUS IN THE MUSEUM THERE'S NO ICE AND SNOW...

"A troop of monkeys celebrate a feast, a panther wanders across a snowy Alpine landscape and a pack of white wolves surround a buffalo dripping blood in a manicured French garden. At first glance Walton Ford’s large-scale animal watercolour paintings evoke prints by French and British colonial-era illustrators from the 19th century. After closer examination however, they reveal a pictorial universe of complex and disturbing allusions. The various tigers, lions, birds and primates that populate the life-size pictures appear as vivacious protagonists locked in allegorical struggles. The resulting combination of historical fact, natural history inquiry and surreal imaginings give rise to Walton Ford’s brilliant ‘Bestiarium’."  from 23.01 till 24.5.2010

This squat-turned-art-center boasts art galleries, clubs and bars on every floor. Tonight Cafe Zapata (bottom floor) hosts a session of refined electronic music. Tacheles: Oranienburger Str. 54-56

TECHNO TOTAL AT CLUB-REKORDER

Mad Monday – the new Monday party from 01.03.2010 to berlin from 11 pm under the rail station Jannowitzbrücke of Club Rekorder – entrance water side.
Under various decoration, projection and techno total escape to Berlin on party where drive- and experimental techno – The symbol this party.
Here played various national and international Dj’s and live acts from the techno-scene.
